Water being poured into a glass? Maybe it is satin? Whatever it is I think it is cool looking and the possibilites are endless for its use...perhaps you could animate it, add bubbles or tone it down for that banner background. Whatever you decide to do with it I hope you find it fun and useful!

- I like working with large images so I have zipped up the beginning image for you to make downloading this page faster. You can download the zip file HERE. The zip contains a photograph by Mooncat a wonderful photographer whose work can be found at the Stock xhange.
- A freeware filter called Visual Manipulation (sometimes called Visman) by Mario Klingemann. You can download it HERE. While you are there you might want to pick up some other filters

Let's get started
*Please note: If you install this tutorial as a quick guide you may get a script error when trying to view the images, just click "yes" at the prompt and the images will show properly. Don't know how to install quick guides? then check out the tutorial found HERE.- Open the original image in PSP and duplicate it (shift+D) then close the original.
- Flip it
(or image->flip). Then mirror it
(or image->mirror). - Go to Adjust->Hue and Saturation->colorize (shift+L) and colorize it using Hue:151 Saturation:119.
- Go to Adjust->blur->gaussian blur radius 32.67.
- Colorize it again using the same settings as before
- Now go to Effect->VM Distortion->Distortion by Saturation and apply the following setting:

And there you have it! Quite simple really.
