Gingerbread Girl Selection Tutorial
- Load the apron2 selection FF black, cont 2, FF #9. Select none. Load the apron3 selection FF black, cont 2, FF #4. Select none. Load the hearts selection FF black, cont 2, FF #9. Select none. This is what you should have so far:

- Click on the sleeves layer to activate it then add a new raster layer (refer to image below) Load the dress_sleeves selection FF black, cont 2, FF #7. Change foreground color to #8, add color around detail using same settings as before. Select none.

- Turn visability off to the "background" and "feet and hands" layers and merge visible. Then turn visability back on.
- Click on the "feet and hands" layer to activate it. Load the skirt selection FF black, cont 2, FF #7. Change foreground color to #8 and paint some shadows with the airbrush, same settings as before. Select none. Now merge the "merged" layer down.

- Add a new raster layer called "head". Load the head selection FF black, cont 2, FF #1. While still selected add a new raster layer. Change foreground color to #3, get the airbrush size 47 and paint as shown below. Then give it a gaussian blur radius 9.90. Select none and merge layer down onto the head layer.

- Load the mouth selection FF black. Select none.
- Load the eyes selection FF black, cont 2, FF white. Select none.
- Load the pupils selection FF black. Load the whites selection FF white. Select none.
- Load the headtrim selection FF black, cont 1 FF #6. Change foreground color to #4 get airbrush size 36, density 22 and add a few shots of color. Select none.
- Load headbow1 selection FF black, cont 2, FF #9. Repeat for headbow2 selection. Load headbow3 FF black, cont 2, FF #4. Select none.
- Load the nose selection FF black, cont 2, FF #7. While still selected add a new raster layer. Change the foreground color to #4 and get the airbrush tool size 6 density 100 and add a dot in the center of the nose. Give it a gaussian blur radius 2. Select none and merge this layer down.

- Add a new raster layer.   Load the bow1 selection FF black, cont 2, FF #4. Repeat for the bow2 selection. Load the bow3 selection FF black, cont 2, FF #7. Repeat for the bow4 selection. Select none.
And your finished! Now there is just one thing left to do...either make a tube or merge all layers and save.
TO MAKE THE TUBE turn visibilty off to the background layer (red x on the eye) go to layers->merge->merge visible. Left click and drag the merged layer out onto your workspace. Then go to File->export->picture tube, give it a name and click ok.
