This is what you should have so far.

  1. Activate the magic wand tool with the following settings:

and click on the left half of the body.
  1. Set the foreground color to #521012 and flood fill the selection.  
  2. Set your background color to #C00000.   Go to selections->modify->contract 4 then flood fill with the background color.
  3. Go to selections->modify->expand 3 then adjust->blur->gaussian blur radius 4.
  4. Give it an inner bevel with the following settings then select none.

  1. Select none then repeat the above step for the right side but change the bevel settings to:

  1. Select none then add a new raster layer.  Set the forground color to #ffdba7.  Activate the airbrush tool size 1 and add some lines similar to the following:

Apply a gaussian blur radius 5.
  1. Add a new raster layer. Activate the lasso tool feather 2. While holding the shift key make several irregular selection and flood fill with black.
Spots
  1. Make the original layer active (the one with the outline) and activate the magic wand and click inside the head.   Flood fill with black then change the foreground color to # f2cfa5.
  2. While still selected activate the airbrush tool size 6 and add some spots.

  1. Give it an inner bevel with the same settings as before.
  2. Add a drop shadow with the following settings:

Select none.
  1. Add a new raster layer. Activate the pen tool, simple mode, freehand, line width 2 and make 2 antenna.

You are almost done!   You can export it as a tube or give it a drop shadow and flatten. Your choice.
