- This color scheme. Just save to harddrive and open in PSP, no need to add to color swatches.
Let's get started
*Please note: If you install this tutorial as a quick guide you may get a script error when trying to view the images, just click "yes" at the prompt and the images will show properly. Don't know how to install quick guides? then check out the tutorial found HERE.- Open new image 350px x 250px, white background (you can make it as large as you want
) - Add a new raster layer and apply your text as a selection. A wide font works the best, I used Arial. You can move the empty selection by using the move tool and holding down the crtl key and the right mouse button.
- Activate the paint brush tool
with the following settings:

- Now add various colors from the swatch leaving some areas transparent. Something similar to this:
- While text is still selected add new raster layer, and set foreground color to white and texture to snake skin. Brush a thin coat over the top, but don't make it solid (leave some transparency).
- Set the layer properties to dodge and visibility to 66.
- Turn off visibility to the background layer and merge visible.
- Add a new layer and set foreground color to #c0c0c0 and this time completely cover the selection (no transparent parts)
- Give it an inner bevel using the following settings:

- Set the layer properties to dissolve. Turn off the background layer and merge visible.
- Add a drop shadow with the following settings (or your favorite one)
