Let's get started
*Please note: If you install this tutorial as a quick guide you may get a script error when trying to view the images, just click "yes" at the prompt and the images will show properly. Don't know how to install quick guides? then check out the tutorial found HERE.- Open garbo.jpg and promote it to a layer. Rename the layer to garbo.
- Add new raster layer. Select all.
- Open background.jpg. Apply guassian blur, radius 11.88. Then edit/copy. Close the original.
- Reactivate the garbo image, making sure the empty layer is still selected and active.
- Paste into the selection the copy of background.jpg. Select none. Drag this layer to the bottom of the layer's palette and rename it to "background".
- Duplicate the background layer. On the copy of the background go to image/mirror and flip it. Set the layer blend mode to difference. You can merge these two layers if you want.
- Reactivate the garbo layer. Set the background eraser to the following settings:

and erase the background. Hint: Use one stroke all the way around the woman and keep the crosshairs a discreet distance away from her.
- Lower the opacity of the garbo layer to 56. Set the layer blend mode to luminance. Or for a softer effect set the layer blend mode to luminance legacy. (example is just luminance).
- Add a new raster layer. Choose the eclipse selection tool and make an eclipse approximately the size and position shown below. I started at coordinates x320 y225.

- Apply another drop shadow but change the horizontal and vertical to -5. select none.
- Add a new raster layer. Now it is time to add the text. Use a point size so that your name looks good, color white, no stoke color, floating. The example is size 48.
- While text is still selected go to selections/load/save selections/save selection to alpha channel.
- Apply the Blade Pro preset. Select none.
- Add a new raster layer. Go to selections/load/save selections/load selection from alpha channel and load the selection you saved. Go to selections/modify/expand 1. Flood fill with white. Select none. Drag this layer below the Blade Pro text layer. Merge these two layers. Add a drop shadow to your taste.
- Now drag this text layer out onto the workspace to create a new image. Delete the text layer from the garbo image.
- Set your foreground/background colors to white then merge all/flatten.
- Then apply Filters Attack/border: Random-Polygone ll. Play with the settings until they l to you.
- Click on the new text image you created and go to edit/copy. Go back to the garbo image and paste it as a new layer.
- Merge all/flatten. Resize the image to your liking.
